The most rewarding aspect of my work is the opportunity to witness and support clients’ resilience as they work toward the goals that matter most to them. I feel privileged to listen to their stories and be entrusted with their care.

Hello, my name is Megan! Over the past ten years, I’ve worked with a wide range of clients, including those with spinal cord injuries, strokes, brain injuries, multiple sclerosis, and movement disorders. I tailor my approach to each client, using a combination of manual therapy, exercise, education, and self-management strategies.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from McMaster University and later completed my Master’s in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto in 2013. Driven by a passion to understand human anatomy and movement on a deeper level, I went on to complete a Master’s in Anatomical Sciences at Queen’s University in 2019. I now work as a Professor at Humber College, sharing both my clinical experience and my belief in client-centered care with future health professionals.

I have received additional certifications, including Supported Conversation for Adults with Aphasia, Advanced Bobath Therapy, and Scalp Acupuncture for Neurological Conditions. I am also a certified Contemporary Medical Acupuncture provider through McMaster University.

I believe that active listening is an essential part of the therapeutic partnership and recognize that my clients know their bodies best. I am here to understand them and use my clinical experience to empower individuals and their families during the recovery process.

When I’m not at work, I’m busy chasing my two young children, who constantly remind me that curiosity is endless and laughter is my best coping strategy!
